February Beach

Today was the day to liberate the conversion van from storage. After shoveling it out of the oversized facility, I fired up the engine to get the fluids circulating and everything warmed up. Since the coast is only an hour away, I "convinced" everyone that a trip to the shoreline was exactly what we needed.
It checked all the boxes: a solid test drive to ensure the systems were still humming after a long winter nap, a brisk walk along the 48-degree shoreline, and—my favorite part—some quality downtime with a view. The photo above is the vista from the van’s full-sized bed, looking out the rear passenger window at the New Hampshire coast. With the music playing and the cabin cozy and warm, I even managed to sneak in a much-needed Sunday afternoon nap.
